Why Graded? Grading Explained

A grading company authenticates a card, grades its condition 1–10, and seals it in a tamper-evident case (a “slab”) with a unique certification number.

PSA

The most widely recognised name worldwide, with the deepest resale market. A PSA 10 carries the strongest liquidity across Europe.

CGC

A strong independent grader with excellent recognition for Pokémon, One Piece and Magic, fully established in Europe.

ACE

A UK/European grader known for fast turnaround and beautifully designed slabs — excellent value.

BGS / SGC

Beckett (BGS) offers subgrades and the prestige Black Label; SGC is well regarded in sports cards.
